Chicken Soup With Rice

but So I did my poetry project this week. I had to pick a song, read it to the class, explain all the poetic stuff in it then play it for the class. Everyone in the class did really serious songs. I did chicken soup with rice. My teacher LOVED it. Everyone in the class thinks I'm a freak, but it doesn't matter because I got an A+. so I have more to write but the laptop freaking out. love ya!

Phrank: Moderation in all things

Technically Greg posted late as well. That's a lot of punishments to be handing out. I think we should have some kind of punishment, but let's go easy this time around, given the circumstances of the past week.
I watched Moulin Rouge for the first time last night. I'm back on campus for the Baccalaureate Mass and then commencement band tomorrow. I really enjoyed Moulin Rouge, it was artsy and bohemian, but in a good way. Also, any movie that shamelessly quotes song lyrics at every possible moment is a good movie.
Siblings, still working on getting an internship and probably a part-time job. Hopefully, I'll have more to discuss on that front next week. Still haven't had any alcohol to drink, nothing that's been mentioned really appeals to me. Though Bill's idea of a beer tasting is intriguing, if not potentially really disgusting. Well, I have to be at the Hart Center for Bacc Mass in a half hour, so I should probably finish getting ready.

Bill didn't post! I hereby call upon the Furies of Fraternal Punishment upon his butt.

I am the last sibling who hasn't been accused of rule-breaking. The jury's still out as the whether or not Frank broke a rule by cussing in the comments.

I have an interview today! Expect an update later. :)

I don't have much to report about the interview, so keep yours fingers crossed. I should hear soon. Also, I have a new Guild Wars convert! WOOO! She's a n00b, but it's curable.

I have no witty title this week

Opps, I'm getting this in late. Thank to Frank for pointing out that today is Monday for me. I'm still recovering from flying out to China, flying back, and then a funeral. ###

So last week I gave my short story. I'm just over the 1k mark on the word count, which is the bottom range of what should be a short story. I'm a bit miffed about it cause talking everyone, it was apparent no one read it. At least Bill was honest about how much he going to read. Basicly no futher than the "###". It's frustrating cause I actually wanted some feedback on it. Oh well...

Lester tonight threw a No-Hitter againt the Royals. Considering that this guy just 2 years ago was fighting off Cancer, this is incredible. The only other pitcher to throw a No-Hitter against the Royals... Nolan Ryan. Tek was catching tonight. This is fourth no-hitter catching. This sets a new MLB record for catchers. The last no-hitter in the MLB was by Buckholtz, and Tek was the catcher for that as well.


Note: I switched the layout of the blog. This is cause I've started to read it on my new phone. The previous layout made it freaking hard to read on my phone cause the archive and profile would come first. This layout puts the blog posts first, which is much easier and faster to read.
