Summer Break!

I'm finally on summer break! Bad news though. No job this summer. I'm going to try the farmstand nearby but thats all I have for options. Next summer will have better options because (brace yourself) I'll be 16. My plans for the summer arn't really-wow nevermind, none of you care. I just had a mental image of Bill kinda skimming my post due to it's dullness.
Other news. I got a haircut (Liz 1:nobodycares! Liz2:I'm sorry!) It's short and kinda dorky. My hairdresser went too safe, so I look like I'm in 6th grade, not y'know 10th. But it's way better for the summer (Liz 1: Not. What guy would want to have a summer romance with a 6th grader? Liz2: JUST SHUT UP!) It's WAY better than all that icky long hair. But guess where all that icky hair went to, Locks of Love. I know! I'm such a good person, I wasn't even trying to do locks of love. oh and my hair has VOLUME/BODY. snap. I know I'm happy too.
More other news.....um....oh yeah! I'm going to helping grandma out once a week over the summer. I'll be cleaning, shopping, etc. I'm really pumped. Cleaning can be so much fun! And guess whose comming with me. Champ! Thats right the puppy will be with me. I'm all excited to bring him! (liz 1: you're the only one). I decided to post a picture of Champ. Isn't he gorgeous? I took that photo a few weeks ago I should totally be a photographer. JK.
For the challenge drama: I honestly don't know. I mean their CHALLENGES. If you're too weak to man/girl up to a challenge then I guess you're a pansy. But I guess having rules is needed. I'm just worried the blog is getting too many rules. I don't want to see this thing turn into a Flux game. But yeah I undertsand that we need them. (liz 1: no you don't. You don't care/understand at all. you're a failure. Liz2: Y'know what? If you don't have anything nice to say to me then you should take your text somewhere else.)
One last thing. I want the blog format to change. I'm sorry greg, I understand you wanted to change so it would better on your phone but nobody else has that phone in the family. And the format is UGLY. absolutely gross. so...I'm going to change it. I have to make supper so It might not be totally impressive.

Phrank: Cheesecake is delicious!

Cheesecake is delicious.

As for all the rules lawyering, I think Anne's got the right idea, so please comment on her post with your thoughts on it. I'd like to get this resolved. Feel free to comment on my post in reply to comments on Anne's post, since we can't double comment, barring exceptions.
Still looking for a job, it might be Babies'R'Us, I have an interview there tomorrow. My interview toady at Sears got canceled.
In other news, I watched some Dr. Who today, I think I've seen pretty much all of season 1 and 3 now. Now I just need to watch season 3 and the rest of season 4.

Some adjustments

So.... new challenge rules?
1) You post a challenge, which begins the next Monday.
2) Siblings can veto the challenge in the comments. If you don't comment, it will be assumed you agree to do the challenge.
3) Majority rules. At least 3 siblings have to agree. In other words, 3 siblings HAVE to veto the challenge in the comments to get it tossed out.
4) No more than one challenge a week.

I'm doing this because Bill's right about the mandatory nature of challenges. I know I'm freaking out about his challenge- I don't
know how I feel about Newton's 2nd law of motion. Which is why I'm issuing a new challenge, to test the rules and help me forget about Newton. If it is accepted, it will take place the week AFTER the Newton Challenge.

Challenge:
Name and briefly discuss a book that has influenced you. I prefer to keep politics out of this (Greg!), but anything else should be ok. It doesn't have to be the full 5 sentences, just the book & author and why you chose it.

Greg needs a punishment for a late post, I believe. I suggest a post, 15 sentence minimum with NO links, hyper or otherwise. And no embedded pictures or videos. Just straight up text.

Bill also missed a post. I would say... 20 sentence minimum, with NO spelling or grammar mistakes. (I messed with his name so he'd notice it.)

There are extenuating circumstances, so these are not mandatory. You're just a rule-breaking filthy communist hippy if you don't do it.

Newton's Laws!!!!

Hi everyone. I have something to get off my chest. I don not like the idea of a challenge being thrown out and no way to rebut or say no to the challenge. Now I hate writing and all of the challenges have been some way, about writing and feelings, nothing cold and hard that is boring. So now I will make those that write, write. I give the challenge to be started next Monday... Describe in five sentences or more you feelings on Newton's Second Law of Motion.

For those that might forget such a great law of physics.

"The acceleration of an object as produced by a net force is directly proportional to the magnitude of the net force, in the same direction as the net force, and inversely proportional to the mass of the object."

That is all really. Have fun with the challenge and remember. Wikki is not to be copied.

I love you all.

Jess, Taters, Yankess

Well, over the past few weeks Jess has been posting comments on my blog posts.

For those who don't know yet...
Jess is my girlfriend, and here is a picture of her...

Where were you for Game 4 of the NBA Finals?
I was with Jess.

One thing about Jess that amuses me is how much she loves the Indiana Jones films. I went to see the new Indy film with her at midnight the day it opened. She was giddy with excitement for the film and drooling over the guys who had whip and fedoras. As much as a fan she is, she does have her limits...
But Taters of the Lost Ark is a bit too much even for her!

Another thing that has been amusing me is that Jess has been saying that I am a Yankee Fan.

In fact, this is true.
To put it bluntly, I'm a better Yankee Fan than most New Yorkers.

So for saying that...
The majority of my family (siblings, aunts, uncles, and others alike) are right now going for the pitchforks and torches...

Now hold on... I can explain...

In order to be a better Red Sox fan, I turned and looked at what the Evil Empire is doing. Learning their tactics, their ways... and understanding how they can be defeated. It's not that I like A-Rod... I just cheered when it was announced he got put on the 15-day disabled list with a Grade 2 strain of his right quadriceps, (though it was backed dated a few days). And to think he almost was a Red Sox.

So it's not that I really like them, I just know the team better than a regular fan does because it enhances my enjoyment of the game. Plus, it's gleefully awesome to see them stink like rotten eggs from the basement of the division.

This blog post was her challenge to me:
1) Post a picture of her...
2) Talk about the Yankees...
3) Talk about the Taters of the Lost Ark.
