BAM! It's Liz

Hi everyone! This is the post that I know everyone has been dying to read! I'm Liz the youngest of the five which is why I get spectacular Friday! I'm 15 years old and a freshman in high school. I'm really into band right now (concert band and marching band) and during April I will be going to Disney World with the music department. I'm so pumped! Oh but I have bad news...today in gym was our last day of pickle ball. I was so sad, because pickle ball is so much fun! Unfortunately some people tend to disagree with me but their opinion is irrelevant ( they're just jealous they don't get to play anymore). If you've never played before it's kind of like ping-pong on big courts. We have our test on it on Monday which I have to pass, because I failed the pickle ball quiz. That got me into remedial pickle ball for a day. But it's all good because I'm freakin' amazing at it now.
This week I have been SO busy. For some reason I had either a quiz, test, or paper due in each class. Even band. It's also had it's fair share of drama. (no me gusta) When I went into high school I thought that I wouldn't get caught up in all that crap. I was wrong. So anyways I'm wicked tired tonight so I'm going to go the coffee house with my friends. Next Friday I promise my post will be better!

p.s Guess what? This isn't actually an () (o). It's really two parentheses together. :D

Phrank: Who is He Anyways?

Well kiddies, I'm posting today and that can only mean one thing. It's a good day to be a blogger. You see, contrary to popular belief, I am in fact... the good son. My reasoning of why I'm the good son has to remain a secret for now, but before the icy grasp of winter claims our fair New England countryside once more, I'll be able to share the secret of what makes me the good son. But enough about me.
I'm 20 years old, just a month and a half shy of the big 21. Not that I really care, seeing as I don't drink alcoholic beverages. Teh gross. I'm a junior at the College of the Holy Cross, an English/Religious Studies double major, essentially I'm getting a degree in awesome. I have a lovely girlfriend I've been dating a little over two years. I like to take long walks on the beach at sunset but I do not like pina coladas though I do like getting caught in the rain.
More useless information, hmmm, obviously I'm the fourth child, a man, I have blue eyes and dirty blond hair, which may be getting dyed a new color soon, but don't tell my mom. I play trombone, I watch DBZ, currently own up to Season 4 on DVD. Actually going to be watching some DBZ later this afternoon. What else, what else? I work in the dining hall on campus, I sing in the Chapel Choir, I'm a practicing and devout Roman Catholic. I accept the theory of evolution, I like the pope, I dislike the Yankees even if the pope is speaking at Yankee Stadium in a few weeks. I own a car which I think is going to fall apart any day now. Cheesecake is delicious. Chicken parm is my favorite food. Ramble Ramble Ramble, never seen a Rambo movie. Currently playing pretty much MS hearts for video games, which is unusual for me.
Well, that's a pretty good introduction for now. I'm sure you can puzzle out more as time goes on Future posts will be of varying consistency in terms of rambling, hopefully most will be more coherent than this one. Go Saders!

Re-Animate Your Feet!

Today was pretty awesome, because I finally saw "The Reanimator", a really terrible horror movie. You might ask, "Anne, why would you watch such a bad movie?" Other than the fact that I LOVE bad movies, I have to reply with this link

To answer the challenge: My name is Anne, and I'm #3 of the 5. I'm 23, looking for a job (preferably as a technical writer but I'm getting desperate) and newly single. I'm an all-around geek and nerdfighter, and dang proud of it. I asked The Commie for a quote to describe me. She Commie replied with, "She's short with a long memory and a meager tolerance for being asked to dance for nickels. And may have been a murderous panda in a previous life." My friends are fantastically weird.
Also, the blog is my fault- I'm the one that talked the other into it. I'm still not sure how I did it, but they can't get out of it now! Mwahahahahaaa. I was inspired by the vlog brothers of Brotherhood 2.0 Check them out! They are filled with awesome.

Other tidbits: This is the year of the Rat according to the Chinese calendar. I am a Rat, which means it's my year!

Don't Forget To Be Awesome!

Rebuttal to Everything that Has been said before Now

So This is my first post and while there was a lot of speculation on what it would be on I think that I will make this one fast. No rants about the king of noobs, unicorns vs. ninjas vs. pirates, muggles or anything else I forgot. Nope this one is going to be fast. I'm just going to tell about myself. I'm 28ish work in the jewelry industry (which makes me the good son), looking to buy a house, brew beer. etc etc. Oh yeah I am VP of player recruitment/retention for the Quite Coyotes North Division. It is the trivia team that I am on, so the title means nothing more than I bring new people to the QC team. More to follow later on trivia later, maybe someday I'll write some trivia lore down so you can all tell your kids. And if you looked and saw beer yup I brew it, I'm going to make me a batch of porter next week, any names for it? Right now it's Porter-Jon Porter.

The Curtain Jerker Post

Yes, we are all siblings. 3 Brothers, 2 Sisters. Same Dad. Same Mom. Hard to believe? Not to us. You'll understand quickly as more posts get written that it's a relative insanity. Still can't believe it? Just remember, you can pick your friends, you're stuck with family.

Since I'm posting on Monday, it means that I'm the oldest of the 5 siblings. How old? Right now, all gonna say is I'm under 20 months to 30 years. Liz, who is the youngest is about 15 years younger than me. I grew up with He-man, Gi-Joe, and Thundercats. Liz had Pokemon. Though admittedly, I'd used to watch it with her and I'm the one who ended up buying Red Pokemon to play with her. I live at my own place in New Hampshire. (Read: I'm the good son) I'm also working to finishing up my Masters as I work. Liz is still at home and in High school. The other 3 siblings are a mix between us two. The point I'm trying to make is that there's 5 of us. So expect a diversity of topics and views. Some things are going to matter to certain siblings, where as they won't to someone else. This is what is going to make this project interesting. Well for me at least, and hopefully for those of you who are going to read this. Oh, while I've got your attention, I'm a Obama Supporter.

As a group, we are highly competitive. Right now the game of Choice among us is Munchkin. Over the weekend we had two highly cutthroat games of Munchkin with all 5 of us and one guest. There's also a rumor that there was a cutthroat King's Blood game this weekend as well. Our Munchkin games start off in nearly the same way every time. We start to help each other out to get treasure and levels. [Defcon 5] This quickly becomes a bidding war for the best help. [Defcon 4] Then the Curses start getting played. [Defcon 3]. As this goes on, we're making deals to keep other siblings from interfering.[Defcon 2] Which quickly degrades into combat modifier cards being thrown about in mass. [Defcon 1] By the end of the game, there's an argument on who actually won [Nuclear winter].

Liz claimed the win in the first game, but its disputed. Liz, tried to run away, failed, got rid of a monster one of the two monsters, and then claimed the win saying she beat other one. Since it's her game, she got to make the ruling to end the game. Amazingly, she's too young to remember the 2000 election. In our second game this weekend, Frank took a co-win with a guest playing for the first time. There was a situation where an experienced player would have jettisoned Frank for a solo win. Had that happened, I wouldn't just let it happen and not have used the nuclear thief option. That is... thieving all of Frank's Items in an attempt to stop him. I was stealing items just to steal other items. I had Anne, Bill and Liz throwing items at me to keep this shock and awe attack on the roll. If you want to know what that this might had been like, one of my ytmnd sites has a good feel for it. Just replace "Clowns" with "All of Frank's item cards".

See you in the comments - Greg

3/26 edit: We Interrupt This Program
Since all the cool kids are doing it, gave my post an actual title now than a Brotherhood 2.0-esque one (It was Greg: March 24th, 2008) Oh well... It's our first week. go Figure.
