Well, like my title states, I couldn't go to bed knowing that Bill hadn't posted. Greg is lucky I'm around because I harp and nag at him every Monday. From 8 am, until I go to bed at midnight.
So, not much to talk about, we moved into the new place. I love it, mainly because it has a dishwasher! I love the dishwasher, and even Greg uses it, which makes it all the better!
This Sunday I will be presented to the church. Greg gets to bless me. I had to fill out 7 questions which will determine whether the RCIA team feels I can go on to the next step in the process, or if I have to stay behind. I hope they let me move on, I'm kind of nervous, but I answered each question honestly. When I get accepted I get a cross I need to wear every Sunday and Tuesday (and occasionally Saturday, during a retreat). I also get a bible. Greg has to come to EVERY class with me, as he is my sponser.
Work is ok, but I feel like I could use a vacation. I have 3 vacation days to use before December 27th, which is my hire date (This year is my 9th year at the nursing home). I have thanksgiving and New year's day off, but have to work Christmas and Christmas Eve as well as New Year's Eve. Next year I'll be able to have Christmas off.
Well, I guess that's all for now. Sorry about my run-on sentences. I'll need Frank to give me a lesson on sentences, since he's the english major.
Have a wonderful week everyone!

If the sentence would leave you out of breath after saying it out loud, it's probably a run-on. My understanding of grammar is woefully under-developed, I just have a powerful and clear writing voice that I got from reading lots and lots when I was a tyke. Tike? Hmmm...
I think it's really exciting that you're going through RCIA. Catholicism is a strong tradition in our family, much like the Force is a strong family connection for the Skywalkers.
Tyke is the proper spelling. And some sentences can be really long but still be grammatically correct. If you have more than one subject/predicate without the proper conjunctions or other connecting mediums, then it's a run-on. I tend to write really long sentences sometimes because I use a lot of prepositional phrases and conjunctions.
Grammar sounded fine to me, who cares what other people think just let them suffer while reading it. thank you for posting, it was day two of twelve hour days.
BTW I'm going to be laid off for only the first week in January. So I'll post that week.
