So I'm leaving Holy Cross at 6 AM to travel to Washington D.C. for the Patriot League championship round at American University. For those interested, the game will be shown on ESPN2, starting at 4:45. The winner of this game will gain an automatic berth in the NCAA tournament. This may be the last game of my Holy Cross career.
Anne, I agree with you on the home-brew campaign setting. That's how I prefer to do things as well. But take the time to really flesh out the setting, and give the characters plenty of room to maneuver.
I've been selected to compete in a cooking challenge at my school. I competed in this challenge last year, the Worcester Telegram and Gazette did an article on it. You can read the article here. This year, I'm going to make risotto with ingredients selected from what is being offered that night. And no, risotto is not on the menu.
Greg, you were welcome to initiate those e-mail, IM, phone conversations about the blog. If you really thought that discussion should not be talked about on the blog, then you should have said something sooner.
As a final note, I will pose a question/challenge to each of you for the final week of our first year of blogging. Thinking about the year, what were your highlights or most memorable moments on the blog? Did you enjoy this blogging experiment, and how would you rate our success at blogging for a year? Finally, what do you think the blog will look like after our year of posting is over, and Anne's challenge to us completed?
