Begining of the End

Okay, the important information.
Jess is doing well and is now home. She getting some rest now.
I'm very much relieved now because she is home.

We're getting close to a final hurah here with the blog. I will be stopping posting.
I might make a guest post every so often afterwords.
It's not that I don't love you all, it's I've got something in the works that I need to devote to.
You will all hear about this soon.

I'm playing with something that reminds me of this video. I've linked to it before though. So this time I'm embedding it.

Serriously

Jess spoke a little too soon... Shortly after she posted, I got sick. I've been asleep most of the day, trying to recover from what she had last week.

Jess bought me this awesome watch for V-Day. She wanted to make sure I had, as the actualy 14th might be crazy for both of us. What makes this watch so cool is that it doesn't need a battery... As long as I wear it, the movement of my hand will wind it up. It's not as accurate as a quartz watch, but then again, I don't need a battery.

There was a discussion on Obama. Being sick and all, I can't express myself as I normally would. So instead I made an image of what I think when I listen to you all talk about Obama.

Common, a guy who's "Good for a beer" can't be bad as you all make him out to be.

What's on your Wish Liszt?

Well, It's 3 days to Christmas. Well sorta..

Jess has to work Christmas Eve and Night, so we're sorta doing an early Christmas to make up for it. Though, I think it's already come for us. The Ring came in today. Jess is now wearing it. And she loves it. And that makes me happy.

So for everyone else, some Festive music is in order. I just found something "Old School". "Old School" meaning something older than Liz. In this case it's the 8-bit musical goodness of the old NES game music mixed into carols. The Metroid \ Ye Merry Gentlemen Mix is my favorite so far.

While you download that, here's something for that Toy Shop Madness...

Wizards in Winter? No Muggles Allowed!

I'm feeling a bit under the weather, go figure it would happen the week alot of things happened.

Wow, The Blog has expanded. We're now 7 days of the week!
Mom is on Facebook. And thanks to Anne, everyone knows that I've got Jess her ring. It's currently out to be sized. It should be back before Christmas.

Speaking of Jess... She's so pwning me in Punch Buggy.
I'm trying to find some rules to hopefully give me an advantage.
So far google is no help.

I was gonna post a Happy Tree Friends Video this week, but it's a joke video and the image before you play it gives the joke away! Still, Wizards in Winter rocks the house year to year...

Who Watches the Sox Win?

Sox just won with a close play at the plate.
It's official... Sox vs Rays in the ALCS.
Bay did it too... Thank God we ditched Manny.

It's official.... I'm gonna beat up Chuck Wicks.
Sorry Chuck, I love your music, but Jessie is all mine.
Speaking of which, it's her b-day this Wed
Tomorrow is Mom's... Bill... is sometime later...

I picked up the Watchmen trade back.
(a volume of all 12 issues for the non comic type)
I'm reading one chapter at a time.
The book is highly lauded so it more like reading The Great Gatsby than a normal comic book. So the movie is gonna suck.

Jess, Taters, Yankess

Well, over the past few weeks Jess has been posting comments on my blog posts.

For those who don't know yet...
Jess is my girlfriend, and here is a picture of her...

Where were you for Game 4 of the NBA Finals?
I was with Jess.

One thing about Jess that amuses me is how much she loves the Indiana Jones films. I went to see the new Indy film with her at midnight the day it opened. She was giddy with excitement for the film and drooling over the guys who had whip and fedoras. As much as a fan she is, she does have her limits...
But Taters of the Lost Ark is a bit too much even for her!

Another thing that has been amusing me is that Jess has been saying that I am a Yankee Fan.

In fact, this is true.
To put it bluntly, I'm a better Yankee Fan than most New Yorkers.

So for saying that...
The majority of my family (siblings, aunts, uncles, and others alike) are right now going for the pitchforks and torches...

Now hold on... I can explain...

In order to be a better Red Sox fan, I turned and looked at what the Evil Empire is doing. Learning their tactics, their ways... and understanding how they can be defeated. It's not that I like A-Rod... I just cheered when it was announced he got put on the 15-day disabled list with a Grade 2 strain of his right quadriceps, (though it was backed dated a few days). And to think he almost was a Red Sox.

So it's not that I really like them, I just know the team better than a regular fan does because it enhances my enjoyment of the game. Plus, it's gleefully awesome to see them stink like rotten eggs from the basement of the division.

This blog post was her challenge to me:
1) Post a picture of her...
2) Talk about the Yankees...
3) Talk about the Taters of the Lost Ark.
