Happy almost June!

OMG. hi. I ONLY HAVE TWO MORE FRIDAY'S LEFT OF SCHOOL. *goes crazy* guess what else is really great? I'm getting a camera. Remember in those older posts where I said I was saving up? I have enough now and I found a really great one. I dunno if it's the "perfect" one I was looking for, but It might be. I need to give it a test run.
In English class I'm reading a book called "Flowers for Algernon". It's one of the saddest/strangest books I've ever read. Here's the Low down: Charlie is a 33 year old "special" person. He is very slow and tends to miss the bigger picture of things. A few scientists ask him to try a operation that will make him smart. That's what he's always wanted to be so he agrees. The brain surgery doesn't have any affects at first but soon Charlie changes. He begins to see the "bigger picture" and understand many concepts/ideas. You would never know he was a mentally retarded individual. The book is sad in a way and also very fascinating. The fact they changed him so much ( this is fiction by the way) is really amazing and wrong. When I say wrong, I mean there's nothing wrong with Charlie he's just slower and tends to miss concepts and then they change him. I haven't finished it yet.
I agree with Frank. We need a challenge to keep the blog hoppin' so I'm going to make one!

CHALLENGE: June 7th is National Chocolate Ice Cream Day. So we will be celebrating all next week starting on Monday and ending with Friday. Then on June 7th ( I think a Saturday) I'll get chocolate ice cream and we can all eat some. For the challenge you have to write a poem the topic being chocolate ice cream.

p.s. Anyone who cares I'm going to the coffee house tonight with Abbey. Should be a BLAST!
