We're into our tenth week on the blog. We've also missed two posts, so far, hopefully Liz won't make it three before this week closes. 2 out of 50, well 2 1/2 if we count late posts. That comes out to be about 5% of the posts not far. Out of a 56 week year, with 5 posts a week, that's 280 possible posts. 5% percent of that is 14 posts. Which means we each can theoretically miss two posts and everyone except one of us can miss three and maintain a 95% posting rate. Or a 5% failure rate, it's up to you whether the glass is half full or empty.
We all agreed to do this for a year, but barely into our fourth month and we're already getting tired of posting. Granted, the last week or two were particularly busy, but that's going to be the case at any point in the year. We're still going to have to post during the week of Christmas and that's gonna be crazy busy. I'm just worried that we don't have what it takes to make it through a year of posting. Perhaps we need a few more rules, to make sure people are engaged in the blog. Stuff like a minimum of three comments on other people's posts, or a rule that what you post about has to be remotely interesting. We need to make rules for challenges as well, like when a challenge is issued, it begins on Monday, not on the day issued. Then it ends the same week with Elizabeth's post. So for an example, if I issued a challenge today, the only opportunity to attempt it would be next week, starting with Greg on June 2 and we each get one try at it, ending with Elizabeth's post on June 6. The short story post dragged out for three to four weeks if not more and when the challenger finally posted his story, it was about time.
Anyways, I'd just like to see the blog be a more fun and exciting place. We would enjoy posting and reading each others post more. Then posting wouldn't be a duty, but an honor.
So glad this isn't Greg's job!
Bill, you could brown, blue or purple skies!
Anne's favorite band!
Phrank, it's so true!
Elizabeth better not end up like her!
Champ's favorite song!
These are six of the songs I've been youtubing while playing KoL, also add in everclear's Father of mine and I will buy you a new life, and colbie caillat's Realize and that's pretty much the only thing I've been listening to. Seeing Lisa on Friday, which will be good. Also acquiring DBZ season five by friday as well, which is good, but not as good as seeing Lisa. Going to a grad party on Sunday, looking forward to that as well. I need a job! Putting in more applications this afternoon and fixing my car!

As I said in a comment to Anne's post: BRING IT
Frank, you so need an upgrade in music.

I agree with Frank- perhaps we can have a 2 or 3 post free pass. But since Greg insists, we can come up with something.
And your challenge idea makes a LOT of sense.
And I offer my own youtube response:

You both chose the same song for your response? Btw, I made it 45 seconds into that audio/visual combo of pure suffering before I ended it. At least my songs aren't an assault on the ears. Eurovision is crap, America is way better!
ok. challenge. I'll make one up.
